I know the wife slipped off an found a bathroom pretty quick, not sure she may have used a tree.

It was 2.5hrs so getting a bathroom seemed like an unnecessary waste of time. Just hold it a few minutes.

Home brewers killed it. Could see a festival just with them, but sure that the big dogs would shite all over that.

Food options were good and really quick. Thought that the crowd was handled extremely well and that only restriction was due to ATC people being prickish. (They were checking IDs before the gate and handing out wristbands. Basically were streamlining the entry, but someone shut that down because they were checking "too far away from the gate")

Totally agree. Like I have said many times before, this festival is the reason I started homebrewing. I loved it three years ago and I had to get on it myself.

I see the same people there every year and to me that just goes to show, once you Zapps Beerfest, you cannot stop. It's a really well done festival.

Compared to Nola International beerfest last weekend the biggest kicker is the homebrew. Nola had bands play which I really liked and obviously it wasn't wet which was nice but overall not a big deal.

We were pretty far up in the line if you compare it to how long the lines ended up, and I noticed as we were going in, some man was yelling "WHERE ARE MY ID CHECKERS?!".. so that must be when they roped them back in by the gate.

Someone mentioned crazy lines, but I didn't have this issue. There was a lot of congestion between booths because they festival just isn't spread wide enough, but I never waited behind more than 2 people.. even right when we walked in.

I had already tried 3 beers while people were still coming into the festival.

I do think the area needs to be widened a little though. Nobody wants to be constantly bumping into people.

I also agree about bathrooms. Luckily, I only went once.. about an hour in, and not many people had gone yet. The line only took about 5-10 minutes and there was still toilet paper and everything in the bathroom.
