I got a DE safety razor as well. Very nice.
I've been doing this for a while but I'll share incase someone might want to try. I wake up 40 minutes before it's time to leave. I get ready in 10 minutes. I go back to sleep for 30 or sometimes just lay awake in bed. Then I get up and leave. I feel awesome after laying down for 30 minutes.
