Rahim Alem played at Aug.

Aug had a long dry period though from about 02 until recently, as far as top level prospects.

I stand corrected. I only crossed paths with the uncle on the internet, not the father.

Either way, Fournette is a legend at that school already and his choice to go to LSU carries more weight than the angry father of an Aggie.

Wasn't it his uncle that was acting like an insane clown from another dimension on bath salts during Jrs recruitment?

He's still talking shite. As recent as a couple months ago from what I recall.

504soulja was the uncles twitter handle. 504soulja on TD was in cahoots with Gerald Willis.

2003 was Ben. 2004 was a down year as far as upper tier athletes but a lot went on to play good college ball, rahim went to LSU that year, and then 2005 was the storm year.

So a head coach that has a background with Alabama goes out and hires the father of a recruit that LSU didnt offer and went with TAMU, and has been very public with his feelings toward LSU since then. Makes me cringe. Coaches are supposed to be there to help guide these recruits to the next level. They arent supposed to be biased towards certain schools. Sounds like Crutchfield has actually done a good job at being unbiased and letting the recruit make the decision on their own, but I have a hard time believing that Noel Ellis Sr will be able to be unbiased.

I'm gonna be honest, I this that crutchfield gets a bad rep around here for no reason.. sure, his step son went to Bama, but I've known crutch for a long time and grew up playing against the teams he's coached.. he has a lot of respect for LSU.. I talked to brad and Cyril a few weeks ago and he always speaks highly of LSU and les miles

I just wish that people would remember that LSU isn't always the best option for these KIDS (for whatever reason) and if they and their parents feel that way, you really can't fault them

crutchfield pushed LF to bama with every fiber of his body. he is going to push any kid that bama won't to go to them. now, if bama doesn't want a kid ellis ( if he ends up at st. aug) would push the kid to aTm.

Jones was at St Aug. Then Katrina hit and he went to Southern lab.

And Mr.Exclusive, if you read my post I actually said that it seems that Crutch has been unbiased and lets the kids decide. But I doubt that Ellis Sr would be like that.
