Has anyone ever evicted a tenant?

Had to go and file an eviction notice on my first renter this morning. They have 7 days to go to the courthouse an answer. If they do(I doubt they will) than a court date will be set. But if they don't, I get a Writ of Possession on day 8 and can make them leave on their own accord or have a Deputy Sherriff assist them if they are unwilling to comply.
Question. What do I do with all their stuff in my house if it comes to that? A friend of mine said it all became my stuff and I told him that was not the case. Wouldn't want all their junk anyway. I imagine that I have to physically remove the stuff and put it out by the street? Hire movers to do that? Do I have to allow them entrance to move it out themselves? This has been a very bad experience with them and they are aware I filed the notice today. Maybe they'll will get it all out by day 8. At least, I hope so. They seem seasoned at this game.
One more thing. Concerned about them potentially sabotaging systems in my home. You know, things you might not notice under a normal walk through. Need the brains of the OT to suggest things I might take an in depth look at like electrical box, furnace, plumbing, etc.

I think it becomes your junk. Just have a sale on craigslist or open house sale

Be ready for overt things like the last tenants of the office I currently occupy did on their way out. They literally kicked holes in the sheetrock and pissed all over the place.
Lots of these folks figure they aren't getting their deposit back anyway and feel justified in "getting their money's worth."
Feel sorry for you and this is why I am not renting out the house that I can't sell in north LA.

Well, in that case I am sure they will have the valuable stuff gone by then. He has two Harley's and a 4 wheeler in my garage.

No way he is leaving the good stuff. How much does he owe you?

I think it is in Georgia as well. In that case, I presume that I am absolved of anything that happens to it while sitting out there? Say people stop and load some things up, that's not on me,right?

I think you can put it out and anyone can grab it. If he isn't moving, have him arrested on day 7 and then you get all the good stuff...

People are morons with money. If he has 2 Harley's and a 4 wheeler why not sell those off to pay for rent?
People suck at prioritizing. What good is recreational vehicles if you have no roof over your head.
I used to work in the mortgage industry and you'd be surprised at how many people would get on their knees for assistance with their payments and when you reviewed your financials you'd see they were really dumb with their money.

He still owes half of February and all of March. Ruined some hardwood floor in the basement and my replacement quote is $300 and destroyed a 6 ft window 2" blind that will be $120. All told, about $2200 right now.

hell, just sell one of them and he could pay the $2200 he owes.
fricking trashy idiots, of course they ride motorcycles.

That will be a huge mistake on his part and he will be in far worse shape after this is all said in done if he goes that route. I have no problem with filing a civil suit.

I had a person in California once asking for help on his mortgage. We reviewed his financials and found that he sends his 5 kids to a private school with $30k/year tuition for all 5 kids and also had a Mercedes and Jaguar note for $750 a month each.
We told him to put his kids in public school and sell off the luxury cars if he wanted assistance. He said no. I told him we are not going to aid you just to subsidize your luxury lifestyle. He told me to go frick myself.

How long were they in there for? Did they just stop paying?
My shortest tenant was about a week. She bounced the deposit and first and last month rent checks. I think it embarassed her because she got out with no hassle.
I was still out the insuffecient funds charge on the 1st check, and I didn't try to cash the 2nd one because I called the bank to confirm funds. I was also out one months rent as I could not get anyone back in until the next 1st of the month.
It's always a pain in the arse, but I don't mind dealing with it. The rent from a shitty townhouse I bought as a single man pays my mortgage on my actual house my family and I live in.

I actually suggested to him that where there is a will, there is a way. I briefly told him that several years ago, after being diagnosed with cancer and being out of work for a year, I had to get resourceful to pay my bills. I told him that where he has those two Harley's parked, I once had a very nice Bass boat. It was sold, below value, to take care of my family's needs. It was kind of a hint but I get the impression he is the kind that would rather just not pay than sell something of his own.
