How good is Brian Bridgewater?

What kind of impact do you see him having next season?

It's been a while since he has been in team basketball now. I don't know how much he has improved. I don't see him making a major impact for us next season but if he's worked hard there's always a chance he improved.
I'd be surprised if he got more than 5 minutes per game to be honest though.

If Martin, Mickey and O'Bryant all leave he will probably have to start. Should get some time with O'Bryant most likely gone but after hearing his quotes after SMU game, I'm not 100% convinced O'Bryant has played his last game at LSU.

I still don't think he starts given that situation...
Would definitely get a lot of PT if that happened. We would also likely try and pickup a JUCO transfer if that was the case.

We'd be so fricked

There is less than a 1% chance all 3 leave. I'd say there's less than a 15% chance 2 of them leave. And it's probably about a 80% chance JOB leaves

Bridgewater is a great player. He would have been a nice addition to our team this past year. Kid has a great work ethic and is really looking forward to finally getting to play in the purple and gold

He can be a really good 6th man, probably fill the Coleman role down the line.

I'm really hoping Bridgewater can be a good player for LSU. Like I said, he could have developed a lot or a little since HS where he played out of position...
Similar to Martin he was a big guy at a small school and had to play post rather than perimeter like we want them.

But then transferred to Scotlandville where he played SF for a state championship team and won MVP of said championship.

He's a good athlete. At 6'5"-6'6" he's got a great frame for the NFL. Make the switch now and he's still a few years ahead of Jimmy Graham and right around Jordan Cameron at this stage in their careers.
There are still some in his camp that believe he could be a hell of an NFL player and think thats the best route for him, but its his decision and he wants to play basketball.
I could see him coming off the bench and giving some minutes as an undersized 4. If he can be a viable option at the 3, even better for him. Keep working hard BB, both in the classroom and out man

Very true. I'm hoping for a contributor.

Talked to Martin last night and he said he was definitely staying and was working on Mickey to stay as well. Didn't ask about JOB III.

Good info. I think they both stay but let's see.

Martin knows he definitely needs more time to develop. So does Mickey but by the way he played towards the end of the season, I would not be surprised if he left

He needs to get his high school credit issues fixed asap

LSU needs some guys willing to play defense.

ask Natchitoches Central...was not a problem, see him needing a lot of coaching up

You realize Bridgewater graduated from Scotlandville last year.
