Definition of a team player. Sad for the fact that we only got 2 years of him in an LSU uniform.

The role he took on last year on our team playing the 4 at only 6 foot 5 inches tall is something I won't forget.

Always an unsung hero on our team. He was a vital part of our team this year and he will be missed. All the best moving forward Shavon.

I only wish we could have had Coleman for 4 years. He was truly a team player. He worked his arse off and grew as a player and a human.

Agreed. Remarkable versatility and quiet leadership. Enjoyed watching him play.

Every word of this. Shavon will forever be a great tiger. Played a much bigger role than we could have ever imagined. Absolutely killed me to watch him cry after the loss.

Had some huge games as a tiger!

could do the dirty work and penetrate the lane or shoot the 3 ball. Was always a hustler!

Dude got heart. Wish he could have been here for 4 years like Stringer. Shavon was one of those players that gave all. Thanks my man. May life be good to you always.

Posted this in the game thread but ill put it here for one of my all time favorite Tigers
quote:

Just finished the game on DVR. Frustrating second half. Very sad to see Coleman's career end. Ive watched this kid play since Jr High and it has been awesome to see his game develop.

He was a bit immature coming out of high school and didn't have the grades but went to JUCO, got on his books and busted his butt.

Ended up having a solid two year career at LSU and was a a very valuable part of this team. I know he likely won't play NBA ball, but maybe he can play overseas or something.

All in all, i guess this season was an improvement in that this team made the postseason and got some more experience for the Seniors and younger guys. Frustrating at times yes, but I'm proud of the Tigers and can't wait to watch them lace up next season. Tl:dr. Don't care. Geaux Tigers.

One of the most improved players I've ever seen over the course of a couple years here.
