And I agree with him, but not about the timeline. I bet it declines in 10 years and really takes a turn in 20. I think this head injury trend has to be very troublesome to the NFL. They are trying so hard to prevent head injuries, they are hurting the product on the field substantially.

Humans and innately drawn to big hits. Its why people watch NASCAR for the wrecks and boxing for the knockouts. If they remove all the jawbreaking, headcrunching, neck snapping hits, they will turn this into a product not as many people want to see. Make the players sign waivers and let em kill each other IMO.

I know this is true, and I hate all the new rules for hitting, but I don't really think about it or care while I'm watching a game. I enjoy the strategy and a simple, well fought game. Idc if there are neck snapping hits.
