You seem to use c-rigs as a finesse application. If anything, my c-rig set-up is beefier than my tx rigs. I use a heavier wire hook and a heavy leader (20-25# fluoro) vs my tx rigs. Interesting.

To be honest I do not fish a Carolina rig often. but when I do I like the light wire hook so it does not weigh down the bait as much. I also like to use a worm that to my knowledge is no longer available that has little air holes all along its back. the holes are small enough that they trap a bubble of air in them and thus float the worms really well.
The last time I found them at a marina I bought them out. I will check and see what barnd/name was when I get home.
