Saw one during hunting season on my property. It's about 60 feet up. Would like to have it for the camp.

I shot one down one time...better do it when it is cold, though or they will tear your arse up....

Just do it at night while they are sleeping. They won't sting you while in the night time dormant state.

60 ft up is a long damn way. Try shooting the branch it is on in half?
cut down tree?
you can probably buy one on ebay for cheap with no stings.

You are in luck, they do not bite this time a year, just climb up there and cut it down

I think it's supposed to get chilly this week. Wednesday I believe. That's the day to make your move. Climbing up there 60' is a horrible idea! If they start stinging you and you fall you'll probably die. If they start stinging you and you take your time coming down, you're going to die from the amount of stings. If I wanted that nest I would take my 300blk ar and shoot the limb it's on. But then you risk messing it up. 60 feet is a long fall.
