What this means then is that the school board has to wait on the state's findings. They can't start their own proceedings because there could be issues of impropriety unless the school board is using an outside, independent source. They won't spend that kind of money though unless the state's investigation turns up something. Since the state's investigation turned up something, now they can proceed with their own investigation AND have a solid direction to start in.

Back to my point to Russian though, no one can reasonably believe that deciding on who is going to handle the investigation/review on the school board's end will happen in a vacuum.

Exactly!!!

And everyone seems to ignore it was the EBR superintendent who first reported the problems in graduation records to the state DOE last Fall when the new recordkeeping person at Glen Oaks HS first discovered the irregularities in September.

But let's just pretend that didn't happen.
