Wow, you're a real piece of shite.
Ever seen a big rig accident?

I know someone who got a great settlement after hiring McKernan's law firm. He was seriously injured and did not do anything wrong so I am very glad he was taken care of.

He's not a bad guy.
To those who say his old man was a prick, you did not know him. I was on opposite sides of both of them in litigation for many years. I resented what Jerry McKernan did for a long time and still do. Still, he was not a "prick".
I will give Gordon the benefit of the doubt until he proves me wrong. He seems to hire reputable young attorneys for his firm and in the firm's operations, they do not seem to be unethical or particularly avaricious.
Anyway, any lawyer who advertises (especially on billboards) is automatically suspect in my view. That said, and in the parlance of the 1960's..."It pays to advertise."

Schmelly:
I cannot argue with you on this point. It is a real close call with me. I can only tell you as that Jerry got older and was about to die of cancer, he seemed to be a better person.
He grew up as the son of a guy who ran the old gym in Miami Beach where lots of fighters got their start. (I think Bertman was around in those days as Miami Beach High School baseball coach.)
I think that he knew late in life that his methods were full of shite, but I do not believe that that transferred to his son. At least, I hope not.
Still, as I indicated previously, I abhor lawyer advertising.

I was young. 24-25, bout 10 years ago. I guess being a big shot, he thought he could push me around. After a few random drop ins to my biz to tell me how he thought I should do my job, I politely told him to gtfo. Last time I ever saw the man

Yes. And, Engrish please.
I would also suggest that when you get older, you may not be so quick to denominate someone a "Prick" because of some slight you received in your business operations.
Again, I do not like what the McKernans have done, but I am willing to cut Gordon McKernan some slack even though I hate lawyer advertising.

The only thing I can say about Jerry is when my parents died he went out of his way to help me.

Yes. And, Engrish please.
I had enough conversations with the man to denominate him what he portrayed himself as. It wasn't cause I was disrespected or some bullshite. He was just an a-hole. He coulda been mother Theresa the rest of his time on Earth.
And I don't know what the hell you keep alluding to with the "I don't like what the mckernans did" thing. Don't know Gordon from Adam or how Gerry ran biz. Don't care
