one thing i noticed with jennings in the the two practices ive seen that have been posted is he throws them high...and i was wondering if its just because it was the beginning of spring so i went and watched the Iowa game...what do you know he throws them high in that game too...i really think he still has the jitters and once he calms down will be much more efficient

I think we will all try not to accept the decline by the offense and will be so confused when we struggle the first game and wonder what happened.

pretty sure any reasonable person would already know that we are going to take a few steps back in the offense next year

is it reason to meltdown? no, of course not

We gonna struggle at the QB position this year.

Are you allowed to say that in this forum? Nevertheless, it's true–and it'll cost us a few games in 2014. I just hope someone emerges as a capable QB for the 2015 team.

What if Jenning's has a bit of Rohan Davey in him. Terrible in practice. But, when the lights come on he shines. How will the rant handle that?

Wtf.

We all want to win and succeed at QB. The fact is we haven't had many great QB's in the last 7 years.

How many schools have had consecutive "great" QBs? Texas,UGA & SC are the only schools that come to mind.

LSU fans need to chill the f*ck out about the QB situation and labeling every dual threat QB as "Jordan Jefferson Part2" is one of the stupidest things ranters like to freakout about. [Not saying you said this CP3]

Also, the #1 QB in the nation will be visiting here during his Spring Break. So, clearly guys want to come here.

Texas has had some major QB struggles since McCoy left.

And honestly, there was nothing in that video that would make me panic about spring drills. What is wrong with people here?

Everyone knows we will be run-first this year. If any of the QB's can play conservative, decent football, or even run for a few first downs, we could still be a very good team.

Defense will be key this year either way.

How will we be confused? It's really not that difficult to realize that the offense will take some time to find itself in the '14 campaign [Unless we instantly have an impact player appear]. I fully expect the game against Wisconsin to look very B1G. Hopefully, the month of rent a wins will yield some confidence in the offense before we go on the road to Auburn.

They have to get better. Nowhere to go but up, honestly.

I wouldn't mind a run first philosophy with some smart passes sprinkled in. These two kids are the future, let's not give them the Jarrett Lee treatment.

This thread should be bookmarked and saved whenever evidence is needed to prove that 90% of the posters on the rant should not be posting.

As poor as you THINK our QB situation is... trust me the rant is in much more need of an upgrade in personel than LSU.

Yep. I still remember when Rohan went down in the SECCG and I was like and then Mauck came in and ran all over TN and then I was all like

Mauck was a "Dual-Threat" QB and so was Flynn (to a lesser degree), IMO. Flynn was a very effective runner for us in 2007. And RP could have been the greatest of them all and he was "Dual-Threat".

I think this is going to be the case. It will be a frustrating year. I think our defense will be very good and keep us in every game. We will have a great offensive line with elite running backs, but qb play will be our Achilles heel.

I think this year will be a lot like 2010 where Ridley was pretty much our whole offense. And 2010 wasn't a bad year so I think we'll be ok. Especially since Bama and aTm will both be breaking in new QB just like us. And we got BUGA Nation on our side this year.

Jennings only completed a few

Sounds like Jennings and REttig are busts from preliminary reports, or at least not ready yet. Harris seems to be the most talented, but in no way is ready to play this year. So you face a dilemma of starting a guy who is less talented this year and then going with a new starter next year again. OR you could start the freshman now and risk fricking up his confidence a la Jarrett Lee.

If Jennings is our QB next year, I truly believe we lose 4-5 games.
