Unity Concepts - Part of the next Primerica/Limu/etc.?

I got contacted about a position with "Unity Concepts" and went in for an interview yesterday just to check it out. There were a number of concerning factors, but I did a little further research after my "interview," which lasted about 10 minutes, and what I found is that it is just one of many similar marketing firms that promise essentially the same thing:
They apparently prey on recent grads, and ask them to enter "manager training," so that in 12-18 months they themselves will open their own marketing firm and make an arse load of money!
I'm not going to my second interview for a number of reasons, but I was curious if anyone else had experience with these guys. If you're interested in this place just beware. Something is definitely fishy, and it smells like over-saturated markets with false promises of wealth and financial independence.

these places want you to sell to your family and friends. then when that runs out after a couple of months you don't have any leads and you fizzle out, but the company has already made their money

Why do you keep going to the interviews?

Yea, don't waste your time with that nonsense. I did the same thing and didn't go back after that. I pretty much used it as interview experience.

I'm posting this sorta as a PSA. I have a job, but have been looking and was curious. This particularly company/series of companies is pretty sinister because they definitely hide details about what they do until you are already there and on board. I still don't know exactly they do, except that it's related to marketing At&T uverse,it's probably door to door, and probably on pure commission.
I can imagine for someone looking for a job it could be easy to fall into the trap. Hopefully people see it as one of those "too good to be true" cases.
