Seattle: Helicopter Crash near Space Needle

KOMO TV is reporting that their helicopter crashed and two are dead.

Two cars were struck in the crash. One man could be seen running from from one of the cars with his sleeve on fire, and he was extinguished by officers at the scene.
Huge flames and plumes of black smoke poured from the burning wreckage. Fuel gushing from the wreckage caught fire and burned for a block from the crash scene.
The Seattle Fire Department said two people were found dead in the wreckage.

So this thing crashed a couple of blocks from the helipad. How terrible

I used to ride helicopters all the time....only time I was concerned was at lift off.
Most of the time over water a crash landing would be survivable.

Im gonna guess and say passengers in the chopper, but no way of telling. Looks like it came down pretty hard.

Yea I'd say the chopper too. I'd imagine the drives of vehicles were able to get away. Said one guy got out but had flames on his arm and police got him right. Sucks that one of the pilots was a babysitter for one of the reporters
