I told a teacher that one time and heard crickets. I think the idea of a Big Bang sounds dumb but if it happened it sure doesn't rule out God. I don't think we are talking billions of years ago either.

No matter what science comes up with you cannot scientifically get to the root of the matter: Who is the creator? Science can explain process very well at times - although what is accepted science differs greatly over time. It cannot explain who or why.

Do you really believe this? The Earth itself is believed to be over 4 billion years old. Do you not believe in the study of geology? I am not saying that any theory is beyond question but I find the age of the Earth much more easily acceptable than the Big Bang Theory. I also want to point out that I don't wholly dount the BB theory I just think that we are really reaching to find the Genesis of the universe and there is a greta deal we don't know.
