Got the 5200 with the 64oz wet and 32oz dry for a wedding present
I know there's a bunch of recipes that came with it and we'll try them, but just looking for some that are your favorites or maybe not in any of the recipes it came with?
For instance, at a show a few months ago when I first got really interested in one of these, a guy made this almond sorbet that was incredible.
Basically it was:
agave
vanilla extract
handful of almonds
bunch of ice
Was ready to drop $500 on the spot
What you got?

I love my vitamix! Don't have much to give to this thread, as I only really make smoothies, banana ice cream and soups in it.

I'm about to pop in the DVD that came with it

Pretty sure we'll be getting one soon. Looking at the pro 750 . Sumbitch makes hot chocolate!

Love it to. Make sure you run a cycle with some type of sanitizer then a rinse cycle.

We just got it so I know we'll go nuts, but I want to keep using so that's why I'm looking for favs. Just watched the DVD and I'm definitely gonna make soups and bread (should say my wife will )

Huge glass of vodka, splash of tonic, ton of ice.
Blend.
Put in mason jar, label as granny's jug and profit.

Dump in 1 large can MinMaid frozen limeaid concentrate.
Fill that can 3/4 full of Tequila and dump.
Fill that can 1/2 full of triple sec and dump.
Dump 2 trays of ice.
Put on cover and hit 'On'.
Profit.
Also the last couple years we've been slushing up our tomatoes and freezing the juice in quart ziplocks. About 10 to 12 gal / yr.
