I go bass fishing in Ramah every once in awhile and see people keeping every bream they catch, even the small ones. Seems like filleting them would be more work than it's worth. Am I missing something, or is there some other way to cook these without having to deal with the bones?

Also, anyone mind sharing some recipes?

I don't keep the small ones but if they are eating size but not quite big enough to fillet, them when scale them and then butterfly them. Then you can easily just tear off the whole side after they are fried
