Why the Rays and not the fricking Marlins? Talk about an area undeserving of a MLB team.

I think a team in Montreal and Vancouver would be great. They do like baseball in Montreal. There was a reason they got an expansion team. Cities and regions don't just stop liking a sport.

When Montreal had good teams they would approach and exceed two million in attendance which in the 1980s was good. The team was considered a success by all measures until Jeff Loria decided to destroy the team.

The Tampa Bay area has housed MLB for 100 years now.
