2014 Football Home Game Schedule

Am I the only person upset by the increase in parking and ticket fees and the disappointing home game schedule?

Did you see the new SEZ expansion? I think that might have something to do with it...

Yeah, you're the only one. Everybody usually enjoys spending more money.

The SEC home schedule is meh every other year. It's been that way for years. And I'm done hoping for home and home series with powerhouse schools. No good can come from it during the regular season.

I'm not re-newing my single in SEZ. I'll just come and buy outside stadium...much cheaper.

I've been sitting in the same seats since 1966 and this is the first year I'm actually thinking of selling all 4 season tickets. Frustrating:)

there are always tickets available for a single. I sold a ticket to a lady once that told me she's been to almost every home game for years and never paid more than $25 for a ticket! She just waits until the game starts and buys whatever is available!

Pretty bad that we have a brand new addition and we get to open the season on the road, and christen the new stadium with a shitty opponent. I have 8 season tickets and the schedule crap is getting old.....maybe there's some hope if we go to 9 SEC games.

Wisconsin game would have been a nice powerhouse home and home.
Oh wait never mind you have to drive to Houston and go to Green Bay to see those two.
Ridiculous that prices go up while good games are moved to neutral sites and those neutral sites get the economic impact.

Two points:
1) For everyone looking to give up tickets, there is someone looking to buy. A friend is letting a pair go that cost $2900 next year. I sent an email out and found two people willing to buy them.
2) Save the excitement next time LSU schedules a game in Jerry World or Reliant. Fans were jumping for joy when we scheduled TCU, when it fact all it did was screw us out of a quality home game on the future schedule.

This is what happens when you have a national brand. Do you want to go back to having all games at night, 2 or 3 a year on TV and shitty facilities? I sure don't. The reason LSU is scheduling these neutral site games is because there is a demand. Watch how much hype surrounds the Lambeau game. Only good things can come from all of that.

So when it's paid off, prices will be lowered? Ok.

I honestly can't believe people still bitch about ticket increases. LSU is still one of the lowest in the SEC and we've been one the winningest programs the last few years. In case you haven't noticed, the college football world as drastically changed and if you want to stay at the top you need to spend money. To do so you have to have said money. If you don't want to pay for tickets, fine. There are people lined up to buy those tickets.

For me the thing that pisses me off isn't the price increases, it's that we get price increases and shite in return.
- Home schedules that suck
- Next year there are literally 2 interesting
home games.
- Horrific game production
- The scoreboards are used terrible, give us
highlights of other games going on during the
20 minute CBS timeouts.
- Inside condition of the stadium is deplorable
- The bathrooms in most of the stadium probably
haven't been refurbished since the 70-80's,
and often run out of paper towels prior to the
end of the 1st quarter.
Yea yea companies want to buy the tickets blah blah, but eventually if things aren't fixed that will turn as well. I had trouble giving away tickets to a bunch of games this year, and a few salesman I know did as well. Companies will eventually stop buying tickets if their clients no longer want them, and they will find other ways to more effectively spend their marketing dollars.

Of course TAF has a bazillion corporations looking to buy my tickets - that's the point - I feel they want to price the everyday fan out of the tickets so they can have more for the corporations to gobble up.

I'm not so much bitching about the ticket increases. Obviously if I've had my tickets since the 1960's I've incurred quite a few increases. I'm bitching about ticket increases and a crappy home game schedule. Going to a home game costs more than the price of a ticket and I'm getting tired of spending a fortune to go watch LSU play teams like UL Monroe.
And as for people lining up to buy those tickets - BS - I had a hard time selling per game tickets last year and I never get face value much less the TAF fee back
