EDIT... I carry a Glock.

But you dont disrespect a handgun design that is battling for supremacy over 100 years after it was designed.

I like my Kimber. What's wrong with yours?

Nothing at all, I just don't have a need for both now. I also am a kimber fan.

Not really, haha, there are a lot of people who wouldn't think twice about having both (believe me, I've thought long and hard about it, but trying to be "Responsible".)

I'm new to Kimber. Isn't the Gold Match II their flagship gun?

ETA: btw, your gun is gorgeous.

Thanks! I can't wait to be able to get out to the range if this miserable weather goes away.

I think the Gold Match II is supposed to be their flagship gun outside of all the custom models.

That's a pretty broad question.

As far as custom makers though, I'm a huge fan of Nighthawk. They are ridiculously good looking.

Yeah, I meant for it to be subjective.

Nighthawk? I admit I know very little about custom gun makers.

Yeah, I'd assume that line is up there.

I've got the 1911 itch. I want one.

SJHTF in regards to 1911s.
Just read the article.

meh...

I'm sure someone else could write a similar article regarding plastic guns and their performance as it related to them in the Law enforcement field...with weight being the only losing point...(someone probably already has at some point.
