I understand selling just beer MAY decrease the amount of alcohol snuck into the stadium already, but you have know that he is just trying to find a reason to claim other than the extra profits they will make. I'm not sure why they haven't done this in the past other than trying to establish some type of morals in a moraity depleted city.

They need to hurry up and do this. They easily have the capacity to do it, just have moeckler bring in some beer carts. Hell wouldn't be surprised if they could pay for the expansion just from like 2 seasons of beer sales.

Only questions I have are if it will also be sold in student section? I could understand why it wouldn't be. And will it be at all sporting events? I honestly almost would rather this at baseball games than anything, nothing better than a beer and baseball.

I would hope that Abita would be one of the choices available.

I enjoy premium beers more than anything, but come on when you are drinking to get drunk does it really matter what kind of beer it is?

Guess we won't have any free space on our repllay board now. Miller Lite will take over the two new screens. Coke will not be happy about this. Please no draft, plastic bottles would work great.

Yes....yes it does.

I prefer the quicker path. Have you ever drank a six pack of Andygator?

So why doesn't he do it? Who has to approve this if not the AD?

The SEC. It's currently prohibited.

It's cited in the OP's article. Alleva's quote is from another article linked within, about the conference reviewing its alcohol policy.
