Not bs at all. I worked at same company for 4 years, changed companies and got a 30% raise. It's still blows my mind they pay me what they do. I'm 28 and make 50 bucks an hour. Sometimes I have to pinch myself. Like someone else said, there just aren't a lot of EE's with experience in power. shite my dad is a senior electrical designer and Im not even close to what he makes and he doesn't even have a degree. But he also has 30 years of experience. And it's just getting worse with the work force. In ten years 50% of the work force will be retiring.
