I don't lift heavy unless it is programmed into our WODs and didn't work out between football in HS and Crossfit 3 years later. I just got lucky since I strict press 215-225 and front squat 335. Makes life a heck of a lot easier. If I ever wanted to be elite strength though, I need to fix my mobility (trying). Be happy you are 6' 180 because I fight weight gain unless I eat super healthy. Also strength means extra pounds and it isn't fun doing box jumps/pull ups/MUs at 200+
I go to a gym while at School. They have the equipment, great coaches/trainers and a group of friends to work out with
When I go home for holidays/summer I go to my parents gym. They have a good bit of Olympic lifting equipment and such. Also Crossfit is expensive at home.
I will say the nice thing about a gym is when you meet friends and such, they hold you accountable and you enjoy going in to socialize. Hard to motivate yourself to go alone and put yourself through those workouts if it is just exercise when it is by yourself.

First of all... Nice asses. Next, do yall go to a crossfit gym or just a regular/home gym and do the workout?

I go to a crossfit affiliate. I tried at home workouts in the past and made excuses after awhile. Now that I have a membership I make myself go and also I'm not one to workout alone. I need someone pushing me. A few weeks ago the roads were too bad to get to the box so she sent us an at home WOD, 100 burpees for time. It just wasn't the same as having someone pushing you through
