Any workout that sufficiently exhausts your muscles is the best workout. Jogging and other cardio workouts are pointless and possibly detrimental to your health.

I have been doing a body weight circuit in my garage in the morning. I lost almost 10 lbs in the first week with the exercise and diet change.

Circuit training gets your heart up will still doing muscle training.
