Most of my work force comes out of the vally. I've had grown men cry & hug me for giving them the chance to get out. Bad place. Daylight hours, stay on the main roads, stay aware of your surroundings. No bars, strip-clubs, & Don't bye any drugs. You'll see the check point 100 miles north (on American soil) on your way down.

Don't dress flashy or call attention to yourself.

Just don't make yourself a target.

& also in the state of Texas your pistol can be loaded, but has to be concealed (not on your person-team 1911). I keep mine between my seat & center console with lsu rag over it with butt sticking out.

If you get pulled over in a secluded spot. Do not pull over. Call 911& give dispatch all info. You must confirm it is a cop & not cartel.

If you are in a rural area & a pregnant woman, woman holding baby, or kid is in the road Do not stop. Run them over if you have to.

Sound like north Baton Rouge to you?
