Wait, it comes standard on the controller now? You don't have to buy the pack? If so that's nice I'm glad they finally added that.

I always preferred rechargeable AA's as opposed to the battery packs. It sucks when you forget to plug in your controller to charge it, but with AA's I can just swap them out and I am good to go.
