The last couple of years our players don't seem as strong. I remember a couple of years back before the Oregon game, Moffitt saying how they were making changes to the type of player they wanted to build at LSU in the weight room. Think they were trying to focus on more quick twitch types of excercises.

I know the Moffitt slobbers will have a problem with this question?

Really man? do you not see how many players we have had in the NFL lately?

what on earth makes you think that our S and C program is overrated?

That's because your overall assessment is fricking retarded and shows you have absolutely no clue what you are talking about.

Do some research and provide some combine examples or something before you start a baseless thread at least

Ya, I'd like to know how LSU keeps winning 10 games every year with an inferior head coach, an inferior S&C program, and soon enough, I'm sure, inferior players.

No.

The level of play just wasn't there the last two seasons.

Moffitt's program de-emphasizes bench press in favor of functional strength. Much more cleans and jerks and explosion excersizes. I am no fitness expert, but it seems at least for draft purposes that bench should be further emphasized.

No one in the program will ask my opinion on the matter however, wich of course is a good thing, so take this all with a grain a salt.

The last couple of years we've had a ton of underclassmen go early. Those guys would have normally had another year or two in the S&C program.

meh...as it relates to BP numbers, some guys are just naturally stronger than others and Moffitt is not charged for differing genetics.

I was always gifted with strength and while I can still out bench AJ, he would absolutely destroy me.

Its not Moffitt, its God.
