Was it a bit snarky? Sure. But maybe it teaches her a lesson. Honestly, she's lucky it was just this guy and not loss prevention working for Wal-Mart. They WILL call the cops.

I worked Loss Prevention for WalMart back when I was in college and according to policy you can only detain a person once they actually leave the store with items. You can watch them stuff a purse full of shite or put items in their pockets but until they walk out the store, you cant do anything.
