Wouldn't strategically placed fans/ceiling fans get the smoke away from where you want it more efficiently? I really don't know, but I can't imagine an outside vent doing what you need done and it still be quiet.

Agreed...I been looking at the vents more based of cleaning them and that more expensive one I posted has a different kind of blower setup. Thats what keeps it so quiet and also has just one pan that you remove to clean up...just slides out...and supposedly that's it.
