JG lines up as a TE 33% of the time and lines up in a traditional WR position 67% of the time.

Give me a top WR that lines up as a TE, at all or even 10% of the snaps. There are none.

No WR lines up as a TE (a decent amount of time), but all TE's line up wide.

ALL TEs OVER 50 PERCENT
Chase Coffman 79.3 29
Dennis Pitta 73.5 151
Gavin Escobar 71.4 189
Tony Scheffler 69.0 84
Dallas Clark 68.1 357
Kellen Winslow 67.9 321
Jacob Tamme 67.9 280
Tony Gonzalez 67.3 950
Jimmy Graham 66.8 816
Dante Rosario 55.3 176
Antonio Gates 51.7 1,007

ETA: 2 1st is REALLY farfetched - if someone were to even offer that, he's getting shipped. A 1st rounder at minimal is definitely feasible. Crazier trades have happened in the history of the NFL.

ETA2: Notice that guy named Tony Gonzalez who lines up wide more often than Jimmy Graham? What position does he play? WR?

He never made it an issue though. I will laugh out loud if Jimmy gets classified as a WR, because I will immediately imagine Tony Gonzales calling up his agent and bitching him the hell out for not taking this course of action.
