I'd love to bike with my dog, but he's so excited to go he sprints the first quarter to half mile, i'm talking I barely keep up with him on the bike sprint. He actually doesn't allow me to get in front of him. Then he'll get tired and lag behind me the next half mile and i can see that he's pooped and only keeping up b/c he doesn't want me to leave him.
I don't know how to get him to pace himself. If we do it several days in a row, the pads on his feet get ripped up from the street as well.
Do'nt see how i could ever run with him. He would be crying the whole time wanting to go faster.
And as others have stated, he likes to come to a complete stop during a sprint to take a crap. Does it every time.
