you dont actually believe that huh?
All I know is that Belle hit 28 and 34 HR's in his first 2 full ML seasons (1991-1992) as a 24/25 year old weighing 225 lbs. and that he hit 37 HRs as a 32 year old veteran at 210 Lbs in 1999. I suggest you compare photos of Sosa, Bonds and McGwire when they broke into the major leagues vs. when they were finishing up their careers.

Am I not wearing a blue shirt if I say I'm not? You see how this works?

If you hate Albert Belle because he was prick

Bregman has a steep hill to climb. His work ethic is great but I'm not sure he is as physically gifted as Albert belle was.
There's no doubt Bregman is talented.
I believe Aaron Hill to be more talented than Todd Walker. Bregman can have a career very similar, if not slightly better than Hill before it's said and done.
Whether he has MVP talent like a player of similar size and skill (Dustin Pedroia) is doubtful IMO. He may have the work ethic to bounce around the league for 15 years, but I doubt he has the ability to put up MVP and HOF numbers like Belle.

Oh yeah. I see how it works. The truth is whatever you say it is regardless of whether it is actually true or not.

They can see the stats. I'll be waiting for when Todd Walker has a season where he hits over 25 bombs with a .300 average or a season where he damn near hits 40. (Hill had 36) It's incredibly strange to me that nobody mentioned Hill.

Belle, to me, cannot be the best baseball player from LSU for the same reason TM7 will not be the best football player from LSU. While they may both very well be the best to come through the school, they both hurt the teams at a time more than they helped them by their actions.
That said Todd Walker put up some amazing stats in the 90s that will probably not be beaten by Bregman. Then again that was the 90s, gorilla ball, steroids etc. The same people saying he won't be better than Walker will probably be the ones that say the NCAA messed up as far as stepping back the bats, which they did. Bregman's stats last year would have been far better if he had come along a decade ago and you really can't disagree with that. As far as a player that has the drive to be better and is already one of the best players in the nation, Bregman certainly has the chance to be the best to step foot at LSU and that is a fact.

No. I'm saying you're an idiot for believing what anyone says as if you're a 3-year-old being told Santa exists.

It's extremely difficult to compare players in recent years to those in the past because the offense just isn't the same with the bats. I guess if you consider a sliding scale then you could maybe get a better grasp of it but it's still difficult.

Actually, I was interpreting your statements that "there is no comparison" between the two, calling Belle a "wounded buffalo" , your repeated accusations that he used PEDs "100% of the time "despite never admitting it, testing positive and for it and for that matter very, very rarely even being accused of it, referring to his temper tantrums which is irrelevant in this debate, and your general refusal to accept that Belle was one of the most productive hitters in MLB for more than a decade as a pretty good indication that you really don't care for him.
I'm glad you've never heard a racist comment at Alex Box Stadium. Unfortunately, the incident where Belle went into the stands took place in Starkville, MS when some MSU fans called him "watermelon". Now, I don't know if you have ever played outfield against MSU at Dudy Noble Field but I can tell you that I have and their fans were absolute obnoxious. On one occasion, they went so far as to inform me that they had my mother in a van and there was a long line outside the van waiting for the chance and they asked if I would like to take a number myself. I watched them pour a beer on my teammate when he went up against the fence to make a catch.
I'm glad you have high hopes for Bregman. I too think he will be a great player at the next level and he seems like a class act. But that doesn't minimize Albert Belle's accomplishments in baseball. If you can't understand that - Sorry.

I feel better now knowing he never used them.
Thanks for the information.

Whatever makes you feel better. It must really eat at you that he never tested positive and that the only people who have ever accused him are not former teammates, players he competed against or even members of the press who he treated like shite. Nope. The only ones who have accused him are the distant idiots like yourself.

Ive never thought about it before today. But it sure seems to chap your arse that people assume he has.
