Are you happy with your Sprint phone coverage

Thinking of canceling with ATT. What does the OT have to say about this.

Verizon is the best.

I think Verizon is best but the difference is marginal with sprint...I don't have any more dropped calls than I did with Verizon and I'm saving 30 to 40 bucks a month

Depends on the area. All I've been hearing for years is how they're always upgrading the network, but I'm getting tired of waiting.

Data coverage in BR for Sprint is horrendous. Voice is OK.
The site spacing/engineering in BR is the problem for Sprint. It wasn't designed back in the day for their current data technology. And unfortunately the fix for this is very expensive and takes a long time.
There may be a slight improvement soon with data if they ever fire up a 2nd band that is available but not active yet. However you will need a newer device capable of using this band when it turns on to take advantage of it.
New Orleans is a different story and Sprint data coverage in NO is considerably better.

I switched from Verizon to Sprint in December. The coverage isn't as bad as some people make it out to be in my experience so far, but it's not as good as Verizon. It just seems like there are pockets of areas where the coverage sucks, and even certain parts of the day sometimes the coverage will suck right in the middle of BR. Doesn't make any sense to me why that happens but it does. I have 3 lines on my plan with unlimited data, calling, and text. I'm saving ~$100 a month with Sprint and for the most part it's been worth it, occasionally aggravating though because my Verizon service worked anywhere/anytime.

Sprint data and voice call coverage sucks in west BR and Hammond on up 55. I had sprint when I came here for school, I immediately dropped them for ATT.

I'd look into net10 uses all main carriers networks but it is prepaid and no contracts. $50a month brah

My husband had Sprint for several years and HATED them. Customer service is horrible. He had the unlimited data but didn't matter. He couldn't even get a good signal in our own house. Forget even trying to stream anything on it.

No sprint is the worst thing since Fascism.

Yes, I've been with spring for a decade and never had a problem. After the earthquake in Haiti my number was hacked and somehow my bill was over $5k. Sprint obviously did not charge me for these fees and credited $6500 back on my bill.
Pretty much I went over a year without paying a single monthly bill and this never came back to bit me in the arse.
To the OP, yes I like Sprint. Works well in areas such as NOLA or BR where most people have ATT. I hardly have drop calls and can use my data at events like Saints games or LSU tailgates.
