because they beat the shite out of us in the 90s, and, more recently, knocked us out of the playoffs with a team that a lot of us think should have WON the Super Bow

that drop by Taylor reminded me of another drop he had that was ruled a catch.

9ers were admist their run of Championships that caused legions of bandwagon fans (some of whom still bring the quality of this site down)

my bad I missed it.

What would you have me do, ditch them and bandwagon the Saints now?
this one? if you still resided in Louisiana I would say yes. i'm always ok with residents jumping on their home team's bandwagon (our pels need this to happen in mass). since you are a foreigner now it doesn't really matter.

it's nothing personal I just hate fans that have a local team but choose to support another franchise over them. the worst is louisiana heat and laker fans

Well i think that would be a lot worse. For good reasons or bad my 7 year old self made his decision and now I have to live with it. Team hoppers are far worse than child bandwaggoners IMO.

it's never worse to have more fans supporting their team. go to a pels/heat game and tell me if it wouldn't be better for that 80% of the arena to have on pels gear instead of heat gear and making it sound like a home game every time lbj scores. it is sickening

as long as those people have never rooted for another NBA team and stick with the heat through good times and bad I don't have a problem with it.

I have been born and raised in Louisiana! There is no law that I have to cheer for the saints! I have been a fan since Joe Montana at which I was very young!! It is ridiculous that Saints fans think I should or have to cheer for the Saints!! This is actually the reason why I can't cheer for the saints at all anymore!
