This is absolutely the case. That's why every season counts. Injuries or not, if this team isn't making some big noise next year, AD's going to start looking around, even if it's just subconsciously. I didn't expect to be a top 4 seed this year, but I was at least thinking they'd sniff 7 or 8.
Anybody who takes a shitty season lying down, not panicking or whatever. Don't get upset when Davis is a Knick or a Net or even a Rocket.

I'm sure I'll be be Mr. Negative Nancy or whatever, but it's pretty much a foregone conclusion that Davis is gone in 5-7 years if we don't make noise in the playoffs in that time period. And a lot of noise.
I mean 100% guarantee he leaves
We're one of the probably 2-3 least desirable places to play in the NBA. Two years ago we were the #1 least desirable, so it's getting better I guess.
