The narrative for Paul is whatever people want it to be,apparently.
I know that be and Jada enjoyed living here. And that's pretty much from the source over a couple of years.
I also believe that he very well may have stayed with stronger ownership and stability. The idea that he fricked the team over is ludicrous. Given the circumstances, I would have bailed, too. The idea of his people "manipulating" the market is funny. He tried to get the best situation he could like any rational player would do.

Shinn/Bower were a shite show. It takes incredible skill in decision making and incredible luck to be a contender. Outside of 07-08, that Hornets era really didn't have much of either. I loved that team, but it was paper thin and there were no injuries. No ill will for wanting out of a crummy situation.
Sports are funny. People boo and bitch about players . Then when players don't show absolute loyalty to the team/fans, they are upset. Not a value judgement or anything because I'm certainly guilty of it too.
