First thing that came to mind. I forgot that he was the only person ever hurt in the history of crossfit.

Yea can't blame Crossfit.
Nothing wrong with attempting 3-rep "touch and go" snatch followed by a "3-position clean and jerk" and finally a 2-rep max back squat after, mind you, running three miles, carrying two 53-pound kettlebells for the first, one kettlebell for the second, and finishing the last unweighted.
Ogar completed the entire run in just under 30 minutes. His CNS probably wasn't fried or anything after that run and he was in perfect condition to attempt OL's.
Keep on Crossfitting brah.
