We are ok with power now but if it goes out and stays out long enough I guess we will have a shrimp boil

I am in Charleston, SC trying to get to Mobile, AL. My flight has been cancelled for today and tomorrow. They can't get me home until Friday if I fly.
I am thinking about driving south to Jacksonville and then over I-10 to Mobile.
Anyone familiar with the roadways between Charleston and Jacksonville? Is it expected to be bad or have closures?
