My cousin is looking to do his graduate degree at UNO. I was curious how it was as a school. Is it worth the price of admission, etc.
He wants to get his Masters in Political Science at UNO and the Phd at Tulane for Poli Sci

I think you need your phd to be a college professor

FYI, this is going to be harder than finding a job as a lawyer, which, unless you are going to bullshite us with some T14 lol big law story you should know is pretty tough right now.

Has anyone done the Executive MBA at UNO? If so, how was it?

I believe they were questioning why someone would get a master's and a PhD, because most PhD programs don't require a master's degree to enter.

If your test scores and GPA are not that good it would be easier to get into the masters program then phd

Ok, in that case. Would it be better for him to go the route of doing a full on Phd program at Tulane or the Masters program at UNO

I know several people who have both, and I might actually end up with both, too. But, I don't think that it is common for someone to pursue both a master's degree and a PhD, because that's a total of 7-8 years of school post undergrad.
