I agree with Vilma as far as the acceptance among other players. I personally don't care who's next to me, and I am certain there might have been a homosexual in my locker room in some phase of my career as a football player, but because people don't bring it up no one thinks its a big deal. Being in that culture, I can tell you a homosexual will be picked on - for the sole reason that everyone in a football locker room is subject to being teased. You have to give it as good as you get it, and someone who comes out and parades it to the world before draft day is just broadcasting that he'd make a big deal about being picked on in the locker room.

Perhaps the Phins should draft him and they should have him play against Richie Incognito in Oklahoma drills... I'm sure it'll end well.
