That last graph is due almost entirely to the relative low income of Hispanics in America. It obviously will change once they get richer.

A good analogy, in my opinion, is that of the Irish. The Irish came here in the 19th century poor as frick, and voted democratic by 90-10 margins. Once the offspring became richer and more financially stable, the GOP became their home. Today, I would wager that 60-65% of whites of Irish descent identify with the grand old party.

People seem to forget that the republicans have been accused of being for only the rich man since the 1850s. That talking point really hurt them among poor European immigrants in the 19th and 20th century, and is currently hurting them among Mexican immigrants.
