Wild Boar hunting in Africa

The comments aren't particularly nice.

I wonder if this is where the expression "having a monkey on one's back" comes from.

While seriously impressive, hunting with monkeys and whatnot, I'll stick with hunting with a rifle. That monkey chasing looks like way too much work.

Anybody understand the point in tossing the monkey at the boar?
