Tre White will return punts, imo

makes no sense to waste a year of his eligibility to catch 2 passes like we did with desean smith
Losing OBJ and Landry, plus having a new, young QB (Jennings or Harris) tells me we're gonna have to get the TEs involved a lot more.

Dupre and Fournette will not start against Wisconsin. It'll be Magee and Diarse.

I hope someone steps up and forces Welter to ride the pine. I don't think I can stand another season of watching him fail to shed a block to make a play.

If Fournette nor Hilliard is not starting then we may have very few rushing yards against Wisconsin. Magee may start but may not tally many carries. Magee did not do well against Iowa (#6) and they were ranked below Wisconsin in run defense (#5). Sometimes, size and strength matter when trying to get tough yards and break down a defense.
In the Big 10, the linebackers do not play with athleticism as much as taking the proper pursuit angles and relying on technique, IMO. They had no trouble stopping the quicker, smaller Magee and I was hoping he would break one, but they simply attacked him.
However, a good off-season could do wonders.

Bolden will be QB3
Diarse will be WR2.
Mills will start at FS and move down to nickel when personnel dictates.

Game 1 Safeties will more likely be Mills and Thompson(if fully recovered)/Jefferson. Adams may take over mid-season, but they're going to put experience back there against Wisconsin to make all the checks.
Also, I'd expect to see a lot of bodies on the DL this year. Big rotation.

LSU recruited Malone to play Center. So might want to change that

Yep. It's getting tiresome seeing DJ run into the picture after the play has been made by somebody else.

Maybe so but that'll be a largely symbolic gesture by Miles to reward guys for sticking around.
Im gonna go out on a very short limb here and project LF gets the most carries, by far, of the RB's over the course of the season.
If not, that just means Magee has a monstrous year so its win-win any way you cut it.

Fournette is a better Back than Magee "RITE NOW" you guys are crazy if you think Magee will start over Fournette Im not into they earned it. Put the best players on the field period. Best running back sense AP what everyone is saying and you mean to tell me he is not gonna start over a QB coming out of high school Yeah Ok.
