Dark Souls 2: Starting classes

From the Beta we know we will be able to play as a warrior, sorcerer, temple knight (cleric), bandit (hunter), dual swordsman, explorer?, and deprived.
I did several runs in Dark Souls using a quality-build warrior, the wanderer, the thief, and the sorcerer. I never made a pyromancer, or faith build. I think to start off I'll probably go with the warrior for my first time around. Although I am very tempted by the dual swordsman.
What are you guys thinking for your first playthrough?

Dual Swordsman...Not sure how long one would survive without a shield. My main in Dark Souls was a INT Build. I had a warrior as well. My INT build kicked arse in PVE. I did ok in PVP, but I found that a faith build is better in PVP. For DS2, I'll start with something familiar such as the INT build and then try other classes and builds. I didn't do much PVP in Dark Souls, I will definitly give that more time in DS2.

Edit: I'm totally joking. Prob go the sorcerer or warrior route

I'm debating doing that sometime soon. Just for kicks. At this point I wouldn't care if I won or lost so I'd do it for practice

Whatever class allows me to invade corndog and troll him.

I have just recently discovered how fun PVP is with the Chaos Blade. So, yeah I've been having a lot fun with that lately.

Warrior with INT.
You have to have INT and faith for Pyro now.

Just don't do it when I summon him. My xbox may conveniently lose connection

Brannen is just bluffing.
He's too much of a next gen snob to demean himself wasting time on a 360 game.
My addiction to all things dark souls forces me to suffer such an indignity.
Eta: you might as well welcome the idea of being invaded. Being hollow won't help you now.

I know
That was the only reason I was able to finish the first one. At least I know now what to focus on

I went Wanderer in every attempt. I like being able to roll/dodge around.

You can be invaded while hollow, but you can join a covenant that automatically summons players to help you. Players that constantly invade will be kind of indicated and players will be summoned to hunt them down. So it's not completely unfair.

I'll be doing my usual glass-cannon INT build. It wrecks all of the bosses, but is kind of shitty for PvP. This might be a problem if I'm going to be invaded all of the time.
