Ok...but your point was that the AFCC was the SB that year. The bills won a close one in the AFCC
Both teams in the AFCCG were better than Detroit....

Well, the Super Bowl is the Super Bowl but I agree with him. I thought SF was the best team I saw all year and the NFC title game was fantastic.
It happens. The year Baltimore & TN played the divisional in Nashville was the "Super Bowl" too. Oakland & NY were layups for them after that.

He's right.
Anyone who watched the NFC Champ game knew it was the real Super Bowl - just like back in the day when the Niners and Cowboys were the best in the 90's.
This year - Watching the AFC Champ game vs. watching the NFC Champ game was like watching the JV vs. the Varsity...Indiana/Boise St. vs. LSU/Bama.

I agree with him honestly. That NFC champ game was awesome.

Sherman does most of his talking after the game. Real quiet before. That's kind of chickenshit

Absolute shocker you agree with that.

Most rational people would.
The difference in physicality between both conference Championship games was palpable.
NFC Champ game felt like a different level of football being played out there.
You know, the kind of stuff you SEC folk love to talk about.
Not surprised Denver got boat-raced.

I'm not sure the 49ers could do what Seattle did to Denver. I don't think it's rational to just assume they're better than Denver.

Niners were in Seattle - controlling that game until the 4th quarter and lost it at the end from a great play.
I think it's fair to say - Hawks best competition was the Niners - and the Hawks players know it as well.

In the last 32 years...the NFC has won 22 super bowls. So I'll ask again...is this news?
1) That's still 10 times the NFC didn't win the Super Bowl.
2) Just because the NFC wins a Super Bowl in a season doesn't mean that season's NFC Championship determined the Super Bowl winner. This year, I think it did (how could anyone disagree after last night?) so Sherman's correct. But there have probably been (can't know for sure, obviously) many years in which the NFC Champ won the SB that the NFC runner-up would have lost to the AFC Champ.

What does that have to do with how the 49ers would do against the Broncos?

Can't really disagree with him with the way things played out. Denver was wayyyyyyyy outmatched, at least for one night.
