A lot of people say fuel filter, but I've never run into a fuel filter related problem. If it was me I'd first give it a full tuneup, since it's probably past due. Plugs, air filter, fuel filter etc. Also take off the intake and clean out the throttle body. After that's all done I'd see if I still had a problem.

yeah. I just hate to spend all that money and it not do shite to fix my problem.

There is no telling. Could be anything. Could be bad plug wires, fuel pump, etc. Just too much to give an answer.

Could be accelerator position sensor, but that would most certainly illuminate your Check Engine light.

Try this first and see what happens. Easy to DIY.

Platinum plugs for this is about $2.50 a piece total $10

Air Filter probably $8 for a fram from Walmart

Fuel Filter is under $10.

Can of Carb cleaner might be $5.

So all in all you are looking at under $40 with tax for a tuneup.
