If I wont see that much of a difference there is probably no point. I just thought it was almost too good of a deal to pass up.

Used 4670K's are going for $200-215 on Amazon, I don't see why you wouldn't upgrade for ~50 bucks, worth it for sure IMO.

It really depends on the game. It's definitely a better CPU. Go see what used 4670k's have recently sold for on ebay. Used Amazon prices are not a good indicator of what you can realistically get for it. They might be listed for over $200, but it doesn't mean anyone's buying.
Can't say I wouldn't do it. I paid nearly $350 for my 4770k (I bought it essentially on release day), so it's an attractive price. Just no guarantees you will be wowed by the performance bump if you aren't doing cpu-intensive tasks.
