KR, I just started reloading 45 ACP last week and have probably loaded about 450 rounds since. Went to the range Sunday and shot about 125 rounds. Sure was nice to do and not burn about $75
bucks doing so. I am reloading 230 grain cast round nose from GAT Bullets and using 4.8 grains of Hogdon Tite-Group. What are you loading?

I'm using berry's 230gr round nose with 4.7 grains of IMR 700-X. According to my reloading manual that should be pushing 850fps.

I went with him to shop for supplies and the only powder we were able to find was IMR 700x. He will be loading 230 grain Berry's plated bullets.
But his lazy fat arse doesn't have the press mounted or anything yet.
