There is no way Daft Punk will ever come to Baton Rouge, or New Orleans. That might go to Houston if they tour, but even then that sounds like a stretch. Maybe the ATL.
I can see why you would want to go. I have never heard of ear funk, but I can't see why they couldn't cover Daft Punk pretty well. Most of the cover bands do a great job, and the music isnt terribly complex.

I bet they will play the Varsity in 2015. It is a top 10 venue in the galaxy. Why wouldn't they?
