On Vita it is a great game. I heard the HD version on console is not really any different.

Better than AC3, but worse than the first. It has a lot of unique things about it that make it appealing. Especially for those in Louisiana (game is set in New Orleans pre-Revolutionary War). It has some problems, but I'm enjoying it quite a bit. Feel just as substantial and open as a console entry.
